Business Case
Portfolico Services specializes in front and middle office services for alternative asset management and investment, primarily with collateral loan obligations. Their 14 year old solution was slow, difficult to use, and resulted in customer churn. Portfolico to update their legacy application from end to end with new functionality, updated visual design, user experience improvements, and consolidated services all delivered through a new a web application.
Approach
I was in charge of designing a new but familiar look and feel for the updated application, complete with a brand new design system and guidance for UX improvements as the application was being rebuilt and upgraded. I worked hand in hand with a large team of stakeholders and developers on this project to ensure the design and implementation process went smoothly.
